• Study of mutual proportion of object groups.
• Development of understanding about space joiner.
• Broad study of shadow differentiation on objects.
• Sketching and painting of object groups as per one's own perception.
• To make available opportunity to handle various color mediums and equipment-materials.
Curriculum: • Sketching of man-made object groups and object groups created by nature placed before you.
• Consistent and proportional sketching of object groups in sufficient large size matching to the size of paper.
• Graphic sketching of objects with shadow and light and its painting by proper colors.
• One can use color medium for painting according to one's liking and/or one can use different types of techniques viz. Stippling, texture creation etc.
Guidelines: -Two man-made objects with different size and one element created by nature should be placed before examinee. -Graphic sketching of object group being placed before is expected from the examinee. -Man-made object should be of large size, attractive form and colored (it should not have design or decoration to the greater extent). -Object group should be kept at particular distance visible to all, at proper height from the floor and below the eyesight level of the examinee. -Seating arrangement of examinees should be around object group in circular or semi-circular shape as per convenience. -Man-made objects should be of different shapes aud sizes. Moreover, they should include natural elements such as large size leaves, flowers, branches of leaves and flowers, fruits, vegetables. -Preference should be given to consistent and proportional presentation of drawing rather than meticulousness. Drawing should be sketched in sufficiently large size so that it matches with size of paper. Drawing should be completed by painting in realistic manner alongwith shadow-light on the objects. -No mechanical device should be used for sketching.
Proposed color medium : Water color (transparent/opaque), color pencils, wax crayons, oil Pestles, ink with different colors, colors available in the surrounding area. Such color mediums can be used separately or many of them can be used together.
Object : Objects such as bucket, dust bean, tub, drum. elements Water bottle, earthenware, porcelain utensils, glassware, basket, mug, bowl, tray, plate, glass. broom, broad earthen jar, small metal vessel for carrying water (Kaishi), open- mouthed vessel (Handa), large-size quadrangular objects, wooden blocks, elements such as large-size flowers, fruits, branches, brinjals, tomato, pumpkin, capsicum, ribbed gourd, cucumber, coconut, banana, apple, oranges, papaw, sweet lime, eggs, bread.
Nature Drawing
Draw the Nature. Like Rose,Sunflower,Aster,Zinnia,..
etc.
Memory Drawing
• To give opportunity for the development of observation, memory and imagination.
• To give opportunity for expression of latent sentiments and feelings in the mind.
• To give opportunity for expression of latent sentiments and feelings in the mind.
• Enhancement .of capability of proportional sketching of incidents in daily life.
• Development of vision of creation of perception about closeness and distantness (perspective) in drawing.
• Creation of awareness-awakening about environment and thereby creation of liking about nature.
Examination: 2-00 hrs. Period
Curriculum: • Delineation based on any known incident.
• Drawing should include three to four human figures, other suggestive elements in the surrounding area according to incident.
• Sketching should include the subjects that can effectively express any idea in the form of drawing.
Guidelines: -Construction of the drawing should be self-made.
-Instead of neat sketching of drawing or its meticulousness more significance should be given to spontaneous sketching of drawing on the subject by mobilizing the memory.
-Attention should be paid to the sketching of elements in the drawing according to the subject, position in the movements and sound painting. Content of the subject is important in the Memory Drawing. Without going into details examinee should pay attention to the originality, construction and observation-
-More attention should be paid to complet painting of the drawing.
Proposed color medium : Water color (transparentJopaque), color pencils, wax crayons, oil Pestles, ink with different colors, colors available in the surrounding area. Such color mediums can be used separately or many of them can be used together.
Subjects of the drawing: Daily event/incident/scene in surrounding area, family incidents, classroom, school, incidents in sports as well as values such as environment protection, dignity of labour, women-men equality, neatness, subjects telling the significance of national/religious festivals! ceremonies. Inclusion of proper background, foreground and suggestive elements in the drawing is expected for creation of atmosphere.

Design
Proposed color medium : Water color (transparent/opaque), color pencils, wax crayons, oil Pestles, ink with different colors, colors available in the surrounding area. Such color mediums can be used separately or many of them can be used together. (If required, texture can be created). Required devices and materials for creation of texture.
• Development of creative expression
• Development of capability of creative use of basic principles of design.
• Development of awareness and capability of effective use of colors and color shades.
• Development of aesthetic sense and creation of utility through design.
• To make available opportunity for use of geometrical equipment and material.
• Development of skill of use of different color mediums and techniques.
Examination :2-30 hrs. Period
Curriculum: Use of outer shape based on geometrical shape for design (e.g. shapes such as square, quadrangle, rectangle, triangle, circle, semi- circle, polygons)
Use of various types of lines (e.g. straight line, curved line, rhythmic line), different natural,
geometrical, figurative or abstract shapes with originality for creation of beauty. Proportionate or disproportionate design. Opportunity to use sound/desirable colors and/ or technique in the design (geometrical devices can be used).

Geometry and Lettering
• Development of capability of use of geometrical constructions for creation of pattern.
• To understand different geometrical shapes and their construction.
• To be able to draw geometrical figures neatly and meticulously.
• To understand Solid Geometry in elementary form.
• To understand forms of lettering broadly.
• Achievement of beauty creation through letter set-up.
Examination : 2-00 hrs. Period.
Guidelines: After complete study of geometrical designs given in curriculum, designs based on it are constructed. Special attention should be paid to neatness and meticulousness while drawing the figures, all lines of figure construction should be kept intact, they should not be erased.
